Useful Information to Consider for Preparing an Event

edit Early booking saves money

Much depends on the time remaining before the beginning of event start date. For a large event, it is ideal to have a half-year to year left to plan after the event place has been decided.  This allows for better budget optimization.  Actava can more creatively serve you, and negotiate price reductions on your behalf. Please, plan a large event in advance!

edit Think over the menu

The menus for gala nights and parties, as a rule, are to be chosen in advance. It is especially important when we are speaking of a large event for 200-300 persons. Products for such events must be ordered beforehand taking into account that during this or that season, some components can be particularly difficult to source. For example, after Christmas holiday in Malta it is practically impossible to find a restaurant offering rabbit meat since it is bought up by the Maltese for a traditional Christmas dish.

edit Each suitcase should be clearly labeled

If you prepare a large exit event, it is necessary to order special labels with your company logo for your luggage. We can help you organize the sending out of your invitations with what a participant should have. (For example, labels for their suitcases, schedule of events printed interestingly, etc). These small marketing items promote the image of your company, add to team spirit, and make identification easier in case of loss or misplacement at the hotel or airport.

edit Helpful Tour Information

If an event program includes a cultural and informative part (for example, a survey of a city’s sights), the managers of Actava prepare helpful information for the participants of the trip. Each information pack includes historical background of the country, important local customs, import/export custom regulations, emergency phone numbers, any dangerous areas of the city to be avoided, a few simple words of the local language, and some recommendations on shopping.
